Urban Search and Rescue (US&R) Task Force (US&R Team)
Federal asset that conducts physical search and rescue in collapsed buildings; provides emergency med­ical care to trapped victims; assesses and controls gas, electrical services, and hazardous materials (HazMat); and evaluates and stabilizes damaged structures.  See Annex A:  Federal Response Teams for more detailed information on this Federal Resource.
